Affiliations and Certifications
- I support the CleanTech Open by providing pro-bono marketing, recruitment, and mentoring in the Pacific Northwest region, in collaboration with a talented team of volunteer organizers.
- In December 2011, I completed AEE's Energy Management Program Training
(CEM certification pending).
- I also attend monthly meetings at the Association of Energy Engineers, Columbia River Chapter to further develop my skills and experience in energy management.
- I'm certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute (certification received in August 2010).
- PMI membership and participation at monthly roundtables and chapter events allows me to share ideas with other project management professionals and stay current on project management best practices.
- Smart Grid Oregon was one of the driving forces behind Jeff Hammarlund's Smart Grid Policy course which I completed in 2011 through Portland State University. I also engage with Smart Grid Oregon and the Citizen Utility Board through participation in events.
- I support NEBC's work through volunteerism at NEBC conferences and attendance at the monthly Oregon Energy Forum.
- Membership in the Microsoft BizSpark program since 2009 has allowed me to deepen my skills in the use of Microsoft technologies through unlimited access to products, training and developer support.
- I'm certified in Microsoft Project 2007 (MCTS certification received in November 2010), and I have advanced skills in the use of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Access and Visio.
