Affiliations and Certifications

CleanTech Open

  • I support the CleanTech Open by providing pro-bono marketing, recruitment, and mentoring in the Pacific Northwest region, in collaboration with a talented team of volunteer organizers.

Association of Energy Engineers (AEE)

  • In December 2011, I completed AEE's Energy Management Program Training
    (CEM certification pending).
  • I also attend monthly meetings at the Association of Energy Engineers, Columbia River Chapter to further develop my skills and experience in energy management.

Project Management Institute (PMI)

  • I'm certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute (certification received in August 2010).
  • PMI membership and participation at monthly roundtables and chapter events allows me to share ideas with other project management professionals and stay current on project management best practices.

Smart Grid Oregon

  • Smart Grid Oregon was one of the driving forces behind Jeff Hammarlund's Smart Grid Policy course which I completed in 2011 through Portland State University. I also engage with Smart Grid Oregon and the Citizen Utility Board through participation in events.

Northwest Environmental Business Council (NEBC)

  • I support NEBC's work through volunteerism at NEBC conferences and attendance at the monthly Oregon Energy Forum.

Microsoft Technologies

  • Membership in the Microsoft BizSpark program since 2009 has allowed me to deepen my skills in the use of Microsoft technologies through unlimited access to products, training and developer support.
  • I'm certified in Microsoft Project 2007 (MCTS certification received in November 2010), and I have advanced skills in the use of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Access and Visio.
